yes! that's right! there is a Brawlers World game demo, and its out now! the download is free on my website!
.... okay, "game" is a bit generous. its a rom-hack of SM64. My website has the patch on it, you will need to apply the patch to your own rom of SM64. It was a small experiment that I (mostly) polished to feel like a complete demo. The idea was to imagine what a Brawlers platformer could have been like if it had come out on the N64.
I have only tested it on the PJ64 emulator. Once I get my hands on a flash-cart, I will test it on an actual N64, and optimize the game accordingly so you can play it on actual hardware!!
Have fun!

So! Due to the overwhelming amount of orders, everything is a little behind. Still waiting on the full shipment of GOKART Tee's to arrive + I had a few big opportunities pop up that I couldn't pass up. One of those commissions took so much longer than expected, and I only finished it up three days ago. I was shipping on-and-off while working on this project, but my multi-tasking skills had a hard time really doing things efficiently.
I pretty much worked on this project for over 6 weeks straight, no breaks. A full 3-minute music video, storyboarded, conceptualized, modeled, and animated by me, for a large client. And of course, as soon as i finish it up..
My dad brings home COVID. Right when I was about to go full-time into shipping the remaining orders. Sigh.
It is currently day 2 of when he brought it home, and I have tested negative. Going to test again tomorrow. If i am still clean (currently have been isolated in my room, not leaving at all), then I will get a motel room and exile myself until he is not contagious anymore.
LOL. Just my luck, man. Thanks for everyone who has been patient with me.

So! If you haven't seen it already, I opened my store on July 14 for Pre-Orders.
There are 4 days left! The store will close July 24! These items will not be restocked any time soon.
Thank you to everyone who supported, whether it was by buying something, or just leaving a nice comment.
I appreciate it greatly.
The drop has gone better than I could've imagined. With my finances secure, I can finally take the time to work on my big project ... the game. FINALLY.
*of course, i will be processing and shipping all the orders before I take my leave!!!!!!
If you missed out on this drop, don't worry. There will be a few more this year that I am very excited about!
Again, thank you to everyone for sticking around!

Once I work through a few more videos, and this merch drop, I would like to make a large content update to my website.
While working on my "The Furnace" video, I can't help but feel like the lore of this place would be much more fun to discover on your own, instead of me streamlining it to the viewers. There is a lot more to tell than what I can present in a video.
So, I think in this next website update, it might be fun to include an interactive point-and-click game to explore the Furnace.
It would be pre-rendered, featuring several locations. You would have a hub featuring a small map, where you can read info about the locations; each location could then be clicked on so you could click around the full pre-rendered image to get additional info.
There would be a few key items you need to collect to open a secret room, unlocking a character that would add additional information to your main hub database.
I don't think you would have a player character on screen, instead the game would be "first-person" (the game would be just the prerendered image, and you would click around the static scene, like old school flash exploration games)
What engine should I use? So many choices! I don't have too much experience in the more complex engines, but have used most of the beginner-friendly ones.
My top picks:
Other considerations:
My other considerations are listed lower because idk if they can be directly embedded into my website (besides Unity and Godot). If i go with those, it might be better to make it into a downloadable exe file. But I think that also takes away with the old-school feel of a browser based exploration game.
Anyways!
I will figure this out soon enough, but I thought it would be fun to get this out of my system. I won't be able to work on this for awhile anyways, so I wanted to get my ideas down before I forget them.

i have dreamed of this moment for years. truthfully, i never thought it would be possible. i'm just one guy, how the hell would i get something like this made?
and now we are here. thank you

Been a busy few months! Juggling client projects, working on new merch, personal projects, etc. has been tough, and I am not doing a very good job at making sure I get everything done, but I will survive! Figured I would take the time to collect my thoughts and post a little update; I kind-of need it since my brain is a bit scattered these days hahaha
But first! Thank you for 700! I didn't ever think this account would grow so large, I made it mostly for myself and to have a laid back refuge from all the social medias. To see the Newgrounds community like my work so much is very humbling. Seeing my own videos on the front page has been a surreal experience. Thank you! I would post more of the videos here but most of them use copyrighted music :(
Currently, I am finishing up a few large client projects, which have taken most of my time. I am wrapping up a very exciting one right now, and I am looking forward to being done with it so I can finally get back to personal stuff!
I have also been prepping new merch and prints for the upcoming merch drop. I haven't made posters in awhile, so its refreshing; unfortunately, I am in a bit of a art block with the Miao Miao poster. The other ones have been posted here, I am excited to see them in their physical form soon :) I still have to finish up some new sticker designs, maybe keychains? We will see.
Also for this month, I am working on a large Aoi video. She doesn't get any love, so I figured its time to build out her part of the world and give everyone a better idea of what she does, where she lives, etc. I am procrastinating on starting it currently, so hopefully I actually follow through on it :P
I am planning on releasing a small art book and maybe even figures over Summer, which I cannot wait to get started on!
After all that, I need to get back to working on my GAME. Yup! Thats right, I have been working on a game in the background for 6 months now! I am excited to show more once it has some meat to it! I have had to put it to the side for a few months to get some work done, but I am hoping to clear my schedule soon and dedicate some real time to it again.
It won't be what you expect: a 3D, ps1 style platforming action adventure. Quite the opposite: a pre-rendered RPG. It won't be too long, as it is my first game. I am just trying to make something sweet and relaxing :) More on that later this year.
Anyways, thats whats up with me! Its gonna keep getting busier this year, but in a good way.
Thank you all for sticking around! <3

i can't believe it! 300 followers!! wow, thank you so much (': also very thankful for the reception on my recent videos. seeing my last two vids do well on here caught me off guard. it makes me happy that my work is at a place that a lot of newgrounders appreciate too!
i mean, a daily 4th place and a daily 5th place in the past month? thats awesome, man. i think i am really finding my groove with these recent vids and i am excited to keep it up!
hope everyone has a good day! :)
